Quest

Quest is the subject in which you learn important skills for now and for later. Skills you need in high school and beyond. Quest teaches you to investigate, to seek information and to assess whether it is reliable. You learn to work together, to present plans and ideas clearly.

This basis is useful everywhere: in geography, biology or history reports, in the profile piece and later in a study at HBO or university.

Every year you work on different Quest projects. Quest looks beyond the classroom. Guest lessons, company visits or workshops of external experts provide a connection to the world outside school. Each project is about a concrete challenge. For example, you work on the city of the future, research your parties, traditions and dishes from other cultures, learn to look critically at the media or think about how to organise a (fictitious) journey as sustainable as possible. Digital literacy and citizenship formation play an important role in this.

Quest teaches you how to think up solutions, collaborate, present them, plan them and reflect them. Skills that help you to trust your time at the Lorentz Casimir Lyceum and future!

Quest teaches you:

  • Design solutions
  • Working together
