Seeking and getting better
You can report your child's illness directly to Magister. This can be done via both the App and Magister Web. You can report for the same day or the next day, indicating when you think your child will be better again. If your child is fit and will come to school, we ask you to report this in Magister. You can also do this for the same or the next day.
Sick notification during a school day
If a student feels sick during school day and wants to go home, contact will always take place at home before we let your child go home. We would therefore ask you to inform us that the student has come home safely, so that we do not have to worry unnecessarily.
Report absent
If your child has a medical appointment, such as a visit to the dentist, orthodontist, general practitioner or medical specialist, you can also indicate this in Magister. You indicate the date and time when your child will be absent.
Other leave
Other leave, such as for the driving examination, orientation to study and occupation or due to special circumstances, can be requested by using the leave form with the button below. Students can also find this form on LCL Home.
Unauthorized omission
Unauthorized failure, so skipping class, leads to a conversation with the annual layer coordinator and appropriate measures. After 5 reports of unauthorized failure, parents are informed of this and after 10 instances of unauthorized failure and/or late notifications we are legally obliged to report this to the compulsory education officer, who subsequently takes over from the school. Parents and pupils shall be informed accordingly.
The absence of school holidays is also reported to the Eindhoven City Council's Education Team which will conduct research on this. If it turns out that there has been an infringement of the Law on compulsory education, this could have legal consequences.
