Of course, guidance continues in the higher years by mentors who speak to the students regularly, monitor their results and contact parents if necessary. The year group coordinator also remains closely involved with the pupils. For students with dyslexia, the dyslexia coach remains involved and students with another mother tongue keep the possibility of NT2 support.

In addition, it is possible for all years to receive tutoring in any subject from an upper school student for a small fee. Registration for this is done through the library.

Even for the higher grades, individual guidance or guidance in small groups remains possible when it comes to planning and study skills, guidance with executive functions or social-emotional problems. A team of professional student counselors provides students with short-term support for this, if necessary.

When additional long-term support is needed, an OPP (Development Perspective Plan) is drawn up. This describes the student's support needs and establishes the goals for guidance together with the student and parents. During the school year, the OPP is evaluated with the student and parents and adjusted where necessary.
