With great sadness we share the news that our pupil Guusje Roelofs died. The defeat within our school is great, and her loss touches us deeply. The next day, we took in all the students to deal with this grief together. Her friends had a memorial that day at school: a place where students can retreat, come together to gather support and remember Guusje. In addition, in our auditorium there is a condolence corner, where everyone can give a final greeting.
Guusjes sparkling smile and warm personality will always remain in our hearts. Our thoughts are with her parents, David Roelofs and Baukje Beekman and her brother Job. We wish them and everyone who loved her much strength. We are grateful for the moments we were allowed to share with her, memories that remain dear to us forever. We'll miss her. Bye, sweet Guusje.
