Cambridge PRO and international certificates

From the third grade onwards, we offer the Cambridge PRO program, both at havo and vwo, for talented students who want to go to a higher level. This program prepares you for the Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (C1) and gives you real, internationally recognized proof of your language level. For vwo-students there is the possibility to flow into vwo-5 to the Certificate of Proficiency in English (C2), a near mother language level. The school does not require a voluntary parental contribution to participate in the preparation; However, there is a compulsory parental contribution for the external examination itself. The cost of these examinations is approximately one-off €250,- and are paid by the school to the institution that takes the examinations. The advantage? A Cambridge certificate opens doors to further education and foreign study, and stands strongly on your resume. During Cambridge PRO you not only learn grammar and vocabulary; You train critical reading, academic writing and oral skills. Teachers guide you personally, with space for reflection and targeted feedback, so that you grow step by step to the desired certificate. You want to know if Cambridge PRO suits you?

Who can participate and practical information

Cambridge English Eindhoven is accessible to students who are motivated and continue to learn curiously. In junior high (year 1 and 2) everyone starts with Cambridge PRE; From grade 3 onwards, the switch to Cambridge PRO is made possible with demonstrated predisposition and motivation. We select by enthusiasm and language, not by origin or earlier performance alone. For group 7 & 8 organizations and parents we organise informative meetings so that you already get a good idea of the approach on time. The lessons take place in an inspiring, green environment where new construction will offer even more modern teaching spaces and study spaces from August 2024. The atmosphere is personal: small classes, attention to who you are and support when it's a problem. That makes the difference between simply taking lessons and really learning to think in a new language. Do you have any questions about registration, tasting or the cost of the exam?
