The Lorentz Casimir Lyceum belongs to the four oldest Dutch lycea on a general basis. A school with a rich history. That sounds through in the now. Athensum and gymnasium prepare students for scientific education. They are given more freedom of choice; in addition to the regular roster, students can develop on themes they consider important. Additional activities are offered to suit their talent development. In both educational concepts, the researching spirit of the pupils is repeatedly addressed. In the HAVO concept, students learn to conduct practical research, while vwo students also see the difference between basic and practical research.

If extra care is needed, it is present. Our school has a strong support team, with specializations in, among other things, gift, dyslexia and failure. This is why the Lorentz Casimir Lyceum offers a two-year bridge period, giving students longer time to make the right choice for a level that suits them. The aim of this two-year bridge period is to give pupils time to land well in secondary education. We guide all students on their way to adulthood to face the world openly.
