There are also nice extra activities for the sports enthusiasts among us. We have a beautiful artificial lawn, where we can be trained and our students can deliver the best performance!
We also have a games room where students can play group games with each other during breaks and outside there is a table tennis table and football table.
Should a student prefer to gam, that too has been thought of! A small group of enthusiastic gamers organise a LAN party twice a year. On the evening about 45 students gather to play their favorite games on their own equipment. For example, PC games, console games and even retro games are played until midnight.
At the Lorentz Casimir Lyceum we think it is important that everyone is accepted and feels safe. Every year the school organises together with students on the second Friday in October Purple Friday. Purple Friday is important because it helps to show that everyone can be themselves regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity. On this day, many students and staff wear purple clothes and we lift the rainbow flag to show our support for LGBTIQ+ (lesbian, homosexual, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer) young people. We also pay extra attention to this important theme during the lessons.
