In cases other than illness, leave may also be arranged. The school is entitled to grant leave only in special circumstances. Extra vacations are expressly not counted as special circumstances by the legislature.

If this is a multi-day leave, it must be requested from the year group coordinator at least one week in advance. Forms to request this leave can be found on LCL Home. Requesting time off for theory and/or driving skills exams for car, moped or scooter must be done at least one week in advance.
Upper School students are granted up to two days of leave per school year for study and career orientation. Forms to request this leave are located on LCL Home.
