What a festive start this school year! On 21 August we proudly opened the doors of our new modern school building for our students. After 15 months of building, in which we focused on sustainability and greenery, our (almost) energy-neutral property is ready for a fresh start.

The 7.880 m2 building offers plenty of space to learn and work together. There are light workspaces, studios and a sciencelab, all designed to challenge students with new challenges. We have ensured good ventilation and lots of natural light, so everyone feels comfortable in space.

Everything is also thought of outside! Around the building there are many green places to relax, exercise and come together during the break, and we are even going to plant new trees to make the surroundings even greener. The spacious bicycle storage ensures that all bicycles are safe and neat.

The teaching rooms are smartly classified by field of knowledge, such as language, sport, and beta subjects, so that students can develop optimally. For seventh grade we have created our own break space on the quade in the middle of the building, while the other students can use the auditorium with stage on the ground floor.

Our building reflects the future vision of Lorentz Casimir Lyceum. We look forward to growing and learning together here in an environment that is fully adapted to our students and our green future!
