In your school time are the annual Sport Interlyceale (S.I.) and the Artistic Interlyceale (A.I.) highlights. Since 1938, there has been a tradition that the oldest lycea on a general basis of the Netherlands meet twice a year to engage in the sporting or artistic struggle. These lycea include The Amsterdam Lyceum, Het Baarnsch Lyceum, the Kennemer Lyceum in Overveen and our lyceum. Once every four years we are the organizing school.

In September the Sportive Interlyceale takes place. The organization is owned by the gym section. With extra training and clinics they prepare the students for this encounter. The best athletes represent our school in team sports and individual athletics parts.

In March or April it is time for the Artistic Interlyceale. You can participate in no less than 19 different parts, including music, photography, theatre, dance, drawing, eloquentia and chess. During this period, the halls of the school change into exhibition rooms. After a first "Showtime kick-off," in which students can get used to being on stage, they then show their talents on two busy stage nights, with a selection of students who represent our school during the National Artistic Interlyceal. The A.I. is a big party where the whole school is bursting with creativity.
