Topics covered by this chapter

For the Lorentz Casimir Lyceum, striving for quality is an important objective. The school aspires to a top position in secondary schools. However, quality in education is difficult to define: It is not just about success rates, but also about didactic and pedagogical action.

As part of quality management, the school systematically works to improve the quality of education, the guidance of pupils and communication. We want to offer our students the best education as an optimal preparation for a place in modern society. The aim of our quality care is twofold.

  • It is a tool for school development and improvement; The school must develop as a professional, learning organisation.
  • Quality policy is a means to justify us both vertically and horizontally. Vertically vis-à-vis the Inspection and as accountability of community funds, and horizontally to parents, students and employees.
