Promotion from junior high

The final figures on the report are based on the moving annual average and are rounded to whole figures.
A final grade or qualification (physical exercise only and Quest) is given for each course on the schedule.
Box Group I: Dutch, Cambridge Pre, French, Latin, geography, history, biology, mathematics.
Box Group II: 3Design, drawing, music
Box III: Physical Education, Quest

Havo Bridge Class to 2 Havo

For promotion from havo junior to 2 havo apply the following criteria:

Up to 1 x 5 in Boxes Group I and 1 x 5 in Boxes Group II and the other final figures in Boxes Group I and II shall be 6 or higher.
The average of all final figures for subjects in Group I is at least 6.0.
Boxes in Boxes Group III shall be completed with "Fulfiled'.

Two-year-old havo/vwo-class

For promotion from two-year high school havo/vwo:
For this class, at the end of the school year, junior students automatically pass to the second year of the two-year junior class.

Athensum Bridge Class to 2 atheneum

For promotion from Atheneum bridge class to 2 atheneum apply the following criteria:

Up to 1 x 5 in Boxes Group I and 1 x 5 in Boxes Group II and the other final figures in Boxes Group I and II shall be 6 or higher.
The average of all final figures for subjects in group I is at least 6,5.
Boxes in Boxes Group III shall be completed with "Fulfiled'.

Gymnasium bridge class to 2 gymnasium:

For promotion from gymnasium bridge class to 2 gymnasium apply the following criteria:

Up to 1 x 5 in Boxes Group I and 1 x 5 in Boxes Group II and the other final figures in Boxes Group I and II shall be 6 or higher.
The average of the final figures for subjects in group I is at least 6.5.
Boxes in Boxes Group III shall be completed with "Fulfiled'.

Supplements

A pupil who does not meet the transitional standards is eligible for discussion if, by increasing one of the final figures by 1 point, the pupil would meet the transitional standards.

If a student wants to be promoted to the VWO department from the Havo Bridge Class, the promotion meeting decides on admission. The parent (s)/carer (s) of the student concerned may make their wish known to the principal in writing.

A student in the gymnasium bridge class who has been rejected for 2 gymnasium can be promoted to 2 atheneum. The final figure for the Latin box does not count.

In the case of a student not automatically promoted, the promotion meeting shall take a decision after discussion.

Only in exceptional circumstances is a duplication of the bridge year allowed. Pupils and parents should contact the principal guidance early if they wish this possibility to be considered.
