The Promotion Meeting
Decisions on promotion or rejection shall be taken at the end of the school year at a promotion meeting. The annual layer coordinator shall chair this meeting.
A decision taken by the Promotion Meeting may be eligible for revision, however only if new essential information has become available after the meeting. A request for revision from a teacher or parent shall be submitted to the rector by the date and time indicated in the annual calendar. At the revision meeting the teachers who teach the student concerned are required to be present. The vice principal is the president of the meeting.
For appeal against a decision of the revision meeting, reference is made to the complaint system.
The promotion standards, which can be found in paragraphs 7.10 to 7.13 above, are the starting point for the promotion meeting. For an individual student, the meeting may differ from these standards, but only in a positive sense. Other pupils with similar reports can never derive rights.
